Site Plan and Civil Engineering Notes:
Exclusions to scope of work:
A. Meetings and coordination, including attendance in Planning Board or Public Hearings.
B. Revisions requested by the client or local municipalities/agencies.
C. Permit expediting, application preparation, filing, processing, and fees submittal to any other regulatory agencies.
D. Design of non-standard sanitary systems that may be required due to site constraints/conditions such as poor soil characteristics, high groundwater conditions, lot size, etc.
E. Investigation and mapping of existing underground stormwater drainage and sanitary/sewer system structures.
F. Identification of wetlands, soil conditions, and other geological features, if any.
G. Additional surveying that may be required for Site Plan preparation.
H. Additional work/mapping, if any, related to applications made to the Zoning Board of Appeals, if any.
I. Preparation of Full Environmental Assessment Form (Long EAF).
J. Design exterior backflow prevention devices for domestic water and fire services in compliance with DHS and Water Authority for approval.
K. Adjoining neighbor notifications or mailings or posting.
L. Preparation of Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) or other detailed environmental studies.
M. Preparation of irrigation plans.
N. Structural design of buildings, foundations, retaining walls, screening walls, etc.
O. Design of pumping facilities for sanitary, water, etc., or private sewers/extensions.
P. Design of stormwater pre-treatment systems.
Q. Off-site drainage studies.
R. Quantity take-off or cost estimates of proposed construction work.
S. Design of any utility relocations or research on available utilities for connection of electric, gas, and telephone services.
T. Design of domestic and fire system demands and fire flow tests.
U. Traffic studies and major roadway improvements that may be required, such as street widening, turning lanes, traffic lights, loop detectors, etc.
V. Preparation of traffic signal or signing plans within State R.O.W.
W. Soil borings, test holes, or geotechnical analysis on subsurface conditions.
X. Construction phase engineering, such as shop drawing review, inspection services, design changes due to field conditions, etc.
Y. Required inspections, sign-offs, or certifications, including but not limited to septic system installation, as-built plans.
Z. Preparation of Notice of Intent and Storm Water Pollution Plan (SWPPP) per NYSDEC requirements.
